Today marked the groundbreaking ceremony, attended by the Akim of the Turkestan region, Darkhan Satybaldy.
"The creation of new industries and increasing employment opportunities is our priority. We are actively negotiating with investors and concluding important agreements. I am confident that this plant will drive regional development," stated the regional head in his speech.
The plant project was presented by PSI Machinery Director Pavel Beklemishev. The new plant, scheduled to open in 2025, will produce heavy equipment, trailers, parts, and metal structures for trucks and special-purpose vehicles. The products will cater to the needs of the mining industry and other construction sectors.
The project is valued at 8.33 billion tenge and will cover an area of 20 hectares. The facility will create 200 jobs, with an annual production capacity of 965 tons. PSI Machinery continues to expand its manufacturing capacity, making a substantial contribution to the region's industrial potential and supporting the local economy.
