main / services / Planning
Planning is a key element of construction management and allows organizing workflows in such a way as to achieve set goals. Creating a well-thought-out work schedule ensures efficient project management. Work planning is always carried out in the initial stages, where the types of work, their sequence or parallel execution, deadlines, the total number of man-hours, required human resources, and other parameters for project execution are determined.
There are four levels of detail in the work schedule
level – a non-detailed schedule that contains the main stages and key events, as well as the timing of their implementation. The basis of this schedule is laid at the bidding stage and subsequently serves as the basis for the development of a second-level schedule.
level – schedule doesn't require special detail, determines the sequence of project implementation and generally determines the scope of work on the project.
level – a schedule with a more detailed description of the work within the stage. Typically, in such a schedule, the detailing of work occurs at the level of detailed engineering.
level – a schedule with sufficient detail to develop monthly and daily-monthly schedules based on it. A schedule of this level includes the scope of work in one of the following formats: physical quantities, labor intensity, or cost indicators. Creating, tracking, and updating such a schedule is more labor-intensive, but it enables more accurate monitoring of the project’s progress.
